About Jessica Rose Stevens, My experience working with children started when I was 15 years old , I helped a family friend look after her 2 year old and 3 month old and fell in love with working with Children. Since then I have had experience working with children in many different settings: nurseries, prep schools, nurseries of prep school, children's wards of hospitals. In the early 90's I had the amazing opportunity of caring for a baby from 8 weeks old to 2 years old as a live-in nanny. I look back on all my childcare experiences very fondly. In the mid 90s I became a mother myself, this highlighted to me the difference between working with children professionally and being a parent; things which are incomparable. I take a natural - holistic approach in my childcare and parenting, using intuition and our 5 senses along with knowledge and experience, intuition is paramount in both professional child care and being a good parent. I will not be stocking any of the gadgets or gimmicks which are so unnecessary and seem to be thrown at new parents these days. I will only stock Natural, Ethically Sourced , Organic - where possible, Educational products, that promote intuitive response , have educational value to children and that empower parents not undermine them .
