Sanctuary Clothing, LLC, et al., Case No. 2:16-cv-00339, 2017 WL 3477746 (CDCA May 12, 2017), affirmed 923 F.3d 1140 (9th Cir. 2019))• Securing multi-million dollar final award in 9-day arbitration hearing before 3-member panel on counterclaim of unjust enrichment; secured dismissal of all claims (American Arbitration Association Jan. 14, 2021))• Securing award of over $1 million in jury trial of breach of contract claims brought by former Head Coach of the Cuban National Baseball Team against former Major League pitcher and his agent (MV Sports, Inc. v. Jaime Torres Sports Management, Inc. and Jose Contreras, 08-48132 and 08-48128, 11th Circuit Court of Florida)• Defeating motion to dismiss trademark infringement and CUTPA claims brought by company that provides employee-training programs (Communico, Ltd. v. DecisionWise, Inc., Case No. 3:14-cv-1887, 2018 WL 1525711 (D.Conn. Mar. 28, 2018)• Prevailing on motions in limine precluding testimony on "scarcity multiplier" or "competitive multiplier" in copyright infringement action (Gaffney v. Muhammad Ali Enterprises, et al., Case No. 1:18-cv-08770 (N.Y.S.D. Feb. 27, 2024) Assist clients in capitalizing on the value of intellectual property rights, by identifying and evaluating opportunities and negotiating a wide range of intellectual property agreements.Clients include toy and game companies, jewelers, apparel manufacturers, licensing agents and manufacturer's representatives, software developers, restaurateurs, artists, textile designers, and publishers.Negotiated several multiple-book publishing deals on behalf of authors and artists, including in connection with a New York Times best-selling children's book series.
