The Equator Principles (EP) are a risk management framework, adopted by financial institutions, for determining, assessing and managing environmental and social risk in projects. The EP apply globally, to all industry sectors and to four financial products 1) Project Finance Advisory Services 2) Project Finance 3) Project-Related Corporate Loans and 4) Bridge Loans. The EP Association comprises 99 Equator Principles Financial Institutions (EPFIs) worldwide who have adopted the EPs, covering the majority of international project debt within developed and emerging markets.Peoplesized Ltd. provides the EP Association Secretariat. Working from southern Africa, Jessica leads a geographically dispersed team based in UK, Sweden, China and Chile, who together manage the running of the EP Association and provide a wide variety of services to the Chair, Steering Committee and members.

Peoplesized is a boutique impact consultancy that provides advisory and technology services to the environment and development sectors. Here Jessica brings together and manages projects and teams, provides expert advice, undertakes research, and develops concepts and project documents - especially for governments and UN agencies accessing funds from the Global Environment Facility (GEF). The result to date is $32M+ in new grant funds secured for environmental benefits. In the past 18 months Jessica has* enabled 3 African countries to secure $16M from the GEF for biodiversity, land and climate benefits and is supporting development of a EUR 15M regional adaptation initiative* undertaken 3 thematic and 1 Africa-wide portfolio reviews of GEF-funded projects for the UN and the World Bank* developed data-driven UN communications relating to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)* conducted independent evaluations of innovative, field-based sustainability projects in southern African countries ($6M-$8M projects and $50M portfolio)Jessica is the director responsible for Peoplesized's engagement with the Equator Principles Association.
