Experienced and motivated project director, with more than a dozen years of experience designing, implementing, and growing programs for environmental and scientific organizations. I value building the capacity of staff, volunteers, and partners to achieve long-term organizational success.As of November 2022 I moved from recruitment into the role of Project Director, Alumni Engagement for the AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships (STPF) program. I helped celebrate the program's 50th anniversary and launched a Pilot Year of the STPF Alumni Network, built upon the 50-year foundation of the STPF program and its engaged 4,000+ alumni. Previously, I served as the STPF recruitment director. In that role, I was the national outreach liaison responsible for disseminating information and raising awareness of both the S&T Policy Fellowships program and its fellows.Additionally, I have managed programming in a variety of nonprofit settings including an aquarium, university, and community-based organization. I have worked with a wide range of audiences from high school students to graduate students, postdocs, and faculty.
