Customer Service Specialist
CurrentInteract with business partners and customers, via phone and email, to assist with order processing, product knowledge, and error resolution. Research complex issues in collaboration with representatives from Customer Service, Sales, and Manufacturing. Resolve complaints as they arise, with an eye toward building customer relationships, and delivering on the company’s reputation for stellar customer service.Develop and edit articles for “Knowledge Base” -- a module of references built to educate Customer Service employees on product knowledge, customer information, and policies. Research content for accuracy, and review documents for style and clarity. Work independently on a daily basis. Collaborate with a Knowledge Base team, meeting regularly to discuss objectives and identify research needed.Assist with new hire training classes as needed, providing classroom support via presentations and activities, and offering real-time assistance on the Customer Service floor.Create a database of employees available for remote work, and communicate regularly with employees and management to keep database current.Meet regular performance metrics and assist with other duties or projects as needed.
