    I have designed a Soft Hybrid Aerial Vehicle via Bistable Mechanism (https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/abstract/document/9561434). This underactuated robot aims to combine the agility of a quadrotor with the efficiency of fixed wing aircraft by using fold out wings. I am continuing to working on designing and controlling passively morphing quadrotors that can glide.

    Worked on the Flying Fish, a hybrid aerial aquatic vehicle capable of flying, swimming, and transitioning between the two. Redesigned a waterproof pod for electronics in order to save weight. My solution involved designing a mold for a carbon fiber layup. Decided which of two autopilot flight stacks would be a better fit for our software needs, and chose APM Ardupilot over PX4.

    Worked on several different electromechanical projects in the Engineering Design Division. Used SolidWorks to design a fixture and a successful process for efficiently mounting a flexible, adhesive gasket to an RF module cover and fabricated the fixture using a CNC. Independently designed electronic component trays for an SMT machine and manufactured the trays with a 3D printer.
