I am currently serving as the Managing Director for Georgia State University's Center for Urban Language Teaching and Research (CULTR), where we promote language proficiency and intercultural competence as essential skills for all kinds of job opportunities. I previously served as the Director of the English Language Institute at Brenau University, and I am incredibly comfortable developing curricula and materials; I have developed lessons, assessments, and materials for both ESL and Outdoor Environmental Science courses. I have extensive experience in working with adult learners, and I have a passion for serving my community through affordable education initiatives such as the GSU Community Based English Program. I have experience in NLP and ML, and I am enthusiastic about developing these skills further.
