• Raised antibodies against 200+ antigens via a synthetic yeast surface display library.
• Optimized the MACS and FACS pipelines to increase antigen-specific binding populations by 90%.

• Investigated if the antimicrobial activity within this green macro algaedecreases over time with time-point extractions and analysis.
• Sought to determine what compounds contribute to the antimicrobial effect using column chromatography, HPLC, and LC-MS.

• Analyzed how Stevia affects adipocyte cells using primary cell cultures and mice models.
• Preliminary data suggests a dosage response curve, in which, lipid uptake, cell differentiation, and cell viability are higher for lower concentrations of Steviol.
• Used various biochemical techniques including: cloning, protein expression, protein purification, cell culture, immunocytochemistry,qPCR, enzymatic assays, antibodies, and NMR.
