Street Side Medics is a not-for-profit, GP led mobile medical service for those experiencing homelessness and the vulnerable currently in NSW. With a growing number of people suffering from homelessness, access to healthcare is required more than ever before. This access is currently suboptimal due to several complex barriers. We collaborate with pre-existing homeless charities, shelters and services to provide primary healthcare specifically for the homeless community. Our organization strives to alleviate the burdens faced by the homeless community of NSW in accessing primary healthcare.

Here at Humanised Group I manage the Accounting and Finance Division, specialising across all verticals of finance recruitment from transactional to C-suite. Similar to my previous role, I am also responsible for staff training and development, for both my own team and other teams across the business, on selective topics. Now a well tenured Manager and recruitment specialist, I have a strong passion for partnering with my Clients and developing a deep understanding of their organisation, cultures and sub-cultures within their respective businesses. Commencing my role as Division Manager in January of 2017, I maintained my Client focus outlined in the previous role whilst initially managing and supporting a team of two. In the first few months in this role, my team grew to four, which naturally saw my responsibility as a Manager double. As Manager, I was responsible for developing each team member through their initial training program, followed by consistent mentoring through their weekly and monthly KPI's to assist them in reaching their personal and professional goals. I have a strong passion for individual and professional development and often individual and team wins would feel like my own. As a team, we reached some significant milestones during my time in this role, including significant year on year growth as a division, from a revenue and billing perspective. I was also responsible for training of new staff across other areas of the business on selective topics.

Commencing my career with Robert Half in Feb of 2016, I was responsible for temporary staffing solutions and recruitment across transactional finance, up to the qualified space.With a key Client focus and in partnership with our Candidate Manager, I was driven to identify opportunities in the market through various business development methodologies that allowed me to provide a wide client base with temporary staffing solutions in a short time frame. Within my first 12 months, I was approached by Senior Management around an opportunity to become Division Manager for the temporary Accounting and Finance team, which led me into the above role.

Working out of one of Hays' regional offices, I was responsible for temporary and permanent recruitment of Office Support and Accounting Support professionals. Working across a diverse client base of both commercial and public sector Clients, Hays allowed me the opportunity to develop a strong knowledge around accounting principles and identifying top talent in the market in regional locations throughout Queensland.
