About Jess Peterson

“Recruitment is a facilitator that helps build connections between people who need each other.” That’s the line that got me into recruiting. I wasn’t planning on this career path; I just fell into it. A recruiter coincidentally reached out to me on “one of those days” at work so I agreed to chat with him. The rest, as they say, is history.It’s been almost 20 years and I still believe in what he said. When you help facilitate these connections and see the magic happen, it’s remarkable. I’ve been lucky enough to work at companies of all shapes and sizes, from start-ups to Fortune 5’s, from private to publicly traded across multiple industries and multiple profiles. No matter where I have been recruiting, I have loved every moment.As much as I love the art of recruitment, my true passion is “Top of Funnel” and the strategic sourcing process.
