I have worked in public accounting since graduating from IU Bloomington in May 2009. My current role is within the Technical Accounting Advisory Services group within Katz, Sapper & Miller, LLP's Audit and Assurance Group. In my role, I focus on quality control processes for the assurance practice, firm wide compliance projects, technical accounting research and support to engagement teams in our Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and New York offices. My specialties include Not-for-Profit Accounting and Assurance Services, Not-for-Profit reporting, Single Audits, Compliance Audits, HUD Audits, Real Estate accounting, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Risk Based Audit Techniques and Risk Assessment, Accounting for Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans and other government assistance (PRF, SVOG, ERC, and any existing federal funding), Technical Accounting Research and Reporting. I am a member of the AICPA's PCPS Technical Issues Committee (TIC). I am an advocate for life-long learning, enjoy public speaking and spend a lot of time at the public library. I serve as the Board Secretary for the Pendleton Community Public Library. Outside of work, I enjoy live music and playing sports with my children.
