But after working with hundreds of leaders, technologists, and service providers, I know how hard it can be for experts to find the right words. Why?- Doing something and talking about it are very different things- Even when we do make the time to write, post, etc, we don’t always feel confident in what we’re saying- Knowledge can be a curse — the more we’re *in* something, the harder it becomes to explainMouthpiece gives these situations fresh eyes, broader context, and over a decade of experience in communicating new ideas so that experts can focus on what they do best. It was born out of my love of meeting new people, learning about the world, and making work work for us.Prior to Mouthpiece, I've worked in startups, corporate, and on the agency side, but always at the intersection of business, technology, and communications. Tech is the reason my family got to immigrate, but I learned early in my career that it takes much more than tech alone for change to happen — it only comes with new understanding. Luckily, I've been practicing building bridges since I was a kid as the daughter of immigrants, one a creative and one an engineer.Born and raised in Minnesota, I now live in Brooklyn with my partner Jake. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring culture, media, food & bev, and spirituality. I wouldn't be who I am without my community either.
