At the YMCA of Greater Toronto, I am part of a dynamic team which works to recruit and retain childcare staff within our 280+ childcare centers throughout the GTA.Responsibilities include:• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to advertise and fill FT, PT and supply vacancies• Full-Cycle recruitment: screening, in person interviews, presenting candidates to hiring managers, administering written interview components, background checks and references, extending offers• Verification of professional memberships and affiliations of all candidates• Creation and maintenance of a master applicant database • Network at industry events and represent the association at College Career fairs and Open Houses throughout the GTA• Implement new grad and summer student recruitment strategies via on-campus events• Sourcing of new talent and advertise positions using a variety of media: newspaper, online job ads, social media, and employment resource centers

Responsibilities and duties included:• Provided front-end office management, including reception and customer service roles• Delivered information to staff and clients, responding to inquiries and requests• Supported the senior management team and aided with meeting co-ordination and catering requirements• Processed monthly bill payments, site insurance information and tracked licensing information• Maintained child care listings on YMCA GTA website as well as internal distribution lists• Monitored and distributed incoming resumes via online, fax and walk-in submissions• Greeted and assisted clients over the phone and in person regarding their childcare inquires• Supported front-line staff with assistance with policy and administrative support

Student Support position within the University's IT Department. Assisted with the distribution, tracking and maintenance of laptop and other hardware.Responsibilities included:• Assisted incoming and returning students regarding their course selection and technology requirements. • Assessed technology need and facilitating equipment required for each specific field of study within the University. • Addressed questions and concerns of the student body in a professional and timely manner.
