My role is to leverage Skyline’s valuation proposition to customers and employees to drive the strategic growth of the business. I oversee the company’s regional Presidents along with the SkyService Team, a group of subject matter experts guiding the Skyline family of companies in HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Safety, IT, and Security. Responsible for the company’s geographic expansion, I led the Sky Service Team in the launch of two new subsidiaries in 2019, the acquisition of two Seattle-based construction firms in 2020, and the addition of new office locations in 2021 and 2022.A core part of my dedication to attracting, retaining, and advancing people is the Skyline ESOP program. As COO, I led the organization’s corporate infrastructure, was responsible for acquisitions from deal structuring through integration, led enterprise risk management, managed the company’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and led the corporate SkyService Team, a group of subject matter experts in the fields of HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Safety, IT, and Security. Recruited top talent and thought leadership from other industries including tech, and integrated them into the commercial construction business, elevating the level of service and sophistication provided by Skyline to clients. Navigated the COVID-19 pandemic by assembling an industry Think Tank to tackle the changing nature of the industry to ensure Skyline’s family of companies were thoughtfully and efficiently taking care of clients and employees in every way possible during this challenging time.RESULT:Grew Skyline from a local general contractor in one market into a national powerhouse in four states with nine offices. Implemented strategies to work with valued clients across multiple geographies. Mitigated the impacts of COVID-19 on the livelihood of employees and customers through creative construction strategies.

As CFO, I was responsible for implementing systems to facilitate growth, drive profitability, improve internal controls, and create repeatable processes, which allowed Skyline to expand nationally into the robust Chicago and Seattle markets. I assessed and evaluated the financial performance of the organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts to provide insight and direction to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization. RESULT:Increased Skyline’s revenue from $175M to $530M, improved profitability, and executed the start-up of two new subsidiaries in 2019, the acquisition of two Seattle-based construction firm's in 2020, and the addition of new office locations in 2021 and 2022.
