Provide stewardship, management, and vision for of all aspects of the International Journal of Government Auditing. Represent the U.S. GAO and the INTOSAI Journal internationally at key meetings of INTOSAI, its regional and sub-regional bodies, and related events and symposia. Manage and plan the Journal's quarterly editions on key public sector auditing topics, and other publication types. Lead initiatives of INTOSAI members, its regions, and sub-regional bodies in enhancing communication. Manage multilateral and bilateral international relations projects, programs, and initiatives for the US Comptroller General, and the Strategic Planning and External Liaison office.

Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, and connect GAO to the global auditing community through participation in the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), the umbrella organization for the external government audit community. Provide communication support on external speeches, Comptroller General bilateral meetings, presentations and other activities.

Lead engagements and evaluate federal programs and policies involving federal infrastructure, spectrum, and transportation. Develop and deliver end-to-end projects evaluating the effectiveness of federal agencies and their programs. Recommendations from this work have been included in the FY20 Senate Transportation, Housing & Urban Development appropriation bill, requiring federal agency implementation.

Evaluate federal programs and policies involving federal physical infrastructure and transportation, law enforcement and national defense strategies. Work in this area has included policy recommendations to respective federal agencies for highway safety crash data collection, oversight of the Department of Defense’s organizational strategy, and an evaluation of the U.S. Marshals Service. Report findings to Congressional requesters. Develop agency-wide criteria for effective cross-functional teams, which has led to recommendations to improve collaboration governmentwide.

Head the development and strategic direction of the International Journal of Government Auditing, the official publication of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) to foster capacity building. Direct and oversee a website and publication modernization project to increase accessibility of content and expand knowledge sharing. Incorporate input from stakeholders, and implement communication best practices. Publish quarterly editions of pragmatic, public sector auditing articles in five languages. Research and develop key papers for the U.S. Comptroller General on emerging issues and priorities in the international auditing community.

Conduct policy research on behalf of the US Customs and Border Protection agency to examine best practices and determine an assessment of the training needs of government and industry professionals involved in global supply chain management processes.

Evaluate the Federal Aviation Administration's ability to safely and efficiently operate and modernize the National Airspace System while facing budget uncertainty to help inform the 2015 FAA Reauthorization Bill. Examine how budget uncertainty has affected FAA’s operations and long term capital planning by conducting data analysis of both the timing and amount of appropriations.

Track affordable housing developments in LA County for outreach to case managers regarding leasing opportunities for their homeless clients, perform policy research for various grant proposals and organize discussions for the Housing and Homelessness working group at the Los Angeles Veterans Collaborative.

Maintain and archive official documents regarding well drills in Samburu, Kenya, daily operations and expenditures, as well as assisting with fundraising event efforts.

Assist Professor Elizabeth DeLoughrey with conducting research on development and environmentalism in the Caribbean and Pacific Islands.

Research and compose briefings on the impact of the Affordable Care Act on various constituencies for the Regional Administrator, and assisted beneficiaries with fee for service issues.
