Primary responsibilities included: collaborating with subject matter experts to develop customized communications targeting trade media, corporate partners and agencies (B2B), and corporate travelers (B2B2C); managing and editing the division’s digital editorial channels (B2B websites, intranet, newsletters, and podcasts); supporting the EVP, SVP and VP as a communications advisor and strategist; leading the content strategy for high-end customer meetings, internal conferences and key industry events; and serving as the headquarter liaison with the Delta and Virgin Atlantic offices in Europe.

Worked collaboratively with Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC product teams to launch new vehicles internally through creative and strategic use of communications channels and engagement programs. Executed dynamic communication strategies and tactics for GM’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) team. Supported the Chief Diversity Officer and DEI events. Crafted key messages for each diversity market and collaborated with brand teams on diversity media strategies to support product launches. Led the external communications strategy for the Orion Assembly Plant and Pontiac Metal Center by managing local media relations and pitching stories that demonstrated GM’s leadership in innovation, sustainability and community engagement. Co-led GM’s largest employee engagement program, which sent 350 employees to three key U.S. cities to learn about the market and interact with consumers through ride and drive events.
