Originally from California, my first experience with design was assisting in the design my high school newspaper! In Washington state, I attended college in the town of Walla Walla. During my college experience, I was a Layout Editor for university newspaper and a junior designer for the Technology Department. I also volunteered as Vice President of Public Relations Manager of The Village Club, the largest club on campus. I was the Public Relations Manager for The Shelter For Freedom Project, a project that raised awareness of Human Trafficking, and showcased the film Cargo: Innocence Lost directed by actor Michael Cory Davis, which raised a total of $200,000 for a new women's shelter. In 2010, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design. After college, I gained experience as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Prizmatik Design Studio, my own studio where I worked for over seven years with small businesses and professionals! I helped businesses reach their intended audience with precision with purpose filled design in visual communication. I delved in to web design, advertising and guerrilla marketing. Furthermore, I was hired as the Marketing Manager for Kameha's Cup Hawaiian Coffee in Kirkland, WA where I helped with all aspects of the brand. I was also hired to work for Attorney, Clay Terry V, Esq. I had the privilege of working for The Format Company in Bellevue, WA and The Creative Group in Seattle, WA and the Aquent Group where I gained industry experience in graphic design, marketing, public relations, advertising, and editorial design. Currently, I have received my certificate in UX/UI Design from the school Thinkful, NY. Utilizing visual communication with advertising and public relations, I have successfully marketed businesses and assisted in brand development.
