Born and bred in the North East of England, I am a voice coach, lecturer, director, and theatre facilitator with a passion for innovative and inclusive theatre. My current research surrounds radical and true accessibility, particularly surrounding neurodiversity. I have experience in delivering acting, text, and accent classes, as well as having Directed and Assistant Directed well-received (and Arts Council funded & commissioned) professional productions. I have always had a love for communication and speech, and after spending time in Newcastle, Yorkshire, Birmingham, and Cambridge, I can safely say I have experienced voices from all over the UK! With a BA(Hons) in Linguistics, and an MFA in Professional Voice Practice, I have been able to specialise in voice coaching for both actors and professionals. I believe in inclusive, imaginative, and informed practice, and I aim to combine the scientific world with the freedom and creativity of the arts. I am also fortunate enough to work with a huge range of clients. I have led a wide range of classes and workshops; from singing lessons in Phnom Penh to academic support in a prestigious UK boarding schools.
