For the last 10+ years, I have worked in licensure, certification, and accreditation roles within healthcare. In January 2022, I transitioned to a new role as Executive Director of The Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC). CBIC is a voluntary autonomous multidisciplinary board that provides direction for and administers the certification process for professionals in infection control and applied epidemiology.In this position I oversee staff, programs, and activities and work closely with the elected president and other members of the CBIC Board of Directors to ensure that the strategic plan is implemented and that annual goals are met.
