Performed regulatory evaluations of both residential and commercial energy efficiency programs, including government-regulated data submittals. Analysis focused on segmentation and targeting of customers for energy efficiency programs. Managed the company’s growing GIS service.• Managed GIS service, including staff training, software selection and database repository. • Developed a logistic regression model to predict likelihood to act for three program offerings. Models built on secondary data including zip-9 demographics, billing and usage profiles, and past program participation. • Assessed the effectiveness of program delivery (marketing and outreach efforts, educational component, offerings, and communication among stakeholders) through participant surveys and indepth interviews with program implementers. Developed analysis methods to evaluate new smart grid initiatives and residential electric rate structures, as well as benchmark energy use in buildings to help municipalities develop energy efficiency strategies.• Curriculum development and execution of an eight-week class on utility bill analysis for staff. • Performed K-means cluster analysis on 130,000 electric customers to identify distinct load shapes. Targeted customer acquisition towards load shapes that were most likely to perform well on an hourly pricing program. • Developed methodology to attribute natural gas/electricity usage from account-level datasets to a county’s energy baseline for energy and climate action planning. Calculated potential savings for recommendations to reduce utility usage and carbon emissions.
