- Assist physician with routine eye examinations and minor surgical procedures.- Triage telephone calls and tasks for clinic and physician. Place calls and takes messages for physicians. Communicate with pharmacies for patient’s prescription refills. Return calls to patients as instructed by the physician- Obtain record and identify information of the patient’s chief complaint and history of present illness. -Obtain and record past ocular history, family history, medical history, allergies, and details of present medication.- Preform refractions, including manual versions with spherical and Jackson cross cylinder refinement as well as near visual acuity with phoropter.

Designing social media content and mailings for University of Iowa's Men and Women's Basketball teams

· Participated in a 3-credit University of Iowa experiential learning course that involved projects for the Chicago Blackhawks and the Cedar Rapids Kernels minor league baseball team.· Designed 4 deliverables under strict deadlines to present our research. · Designed logos and mockup proposals for the Chicago Blackhawks and Cedar Rapids Kernels.· Performed extensive market research, including through Nielsen Scarborough and phone conferences with executives at peer organizations, to respond to questions and develop innovative business strategies for the Blackhawks and Kernels organizations.· Developed and presented a proposal to the Blackhawks’ executives for their new e-commerce website based on research and e-commerce trends.· Provided event management and customer service support to the Blackhawks’ event marketing staff to facilitate fan engagement during the annual Blackhawks Convention.
