About Jessica Fleur
I am working towards a career within the curation and design of sustainable festivals, exhibitions, workshops and community led events working in collaboration with other artists and creatives.I am a recent graduate from Falmouth University where I specialised in print, with sustainability at the core of my creative practice.I am also the founder of JFY Studios, a small sustainable design business creating handmade and one of a kind pieces with nature in mind.I believe that leaving no trace is not enough, we need to positively impact the world around us. Which is why I am constantly striving to push the boundaries of what we define to be sustainable design, questioning and campaigning for better climate awareness within education, and creating alternate ways to allow people to re-connect with nature. I love using hand printing methods such as block and screen printing but also enjoy working digitally to create large scale repeats and digital design work, as well as tactile mixed media pieces. I have experience in photoshop, digital print, hand printing techniques, dyeing both natural and synthetic, as well as marketing and branding experience.
