As Manager of Data Management, I used multiple tools and programming languages to examine data, review it for issues, and merge and purge data sets. I standardized, cleaned, and uploaded lists of customer and order information from over 100 external organizations each year. I queried our data regularly to identify and report issues, participated in website user acceptance testing, and documented my processes to ensure we had written instructions for recurring tasks.In 2019, I helped define requirements for integrations between our Personify database and our new SalesForce Marketing Cloud account. From 2019-2022, I served as a key member of a data integrity project team tasked with identifying and fixing data issues, including pinpointing the underlying problems creating the issues.

As Director of Advancement Services, I was responsible for all aspects of the school's fundraising database as well as its interactions with several other databases and software products on campus. I managed all data going into and out of Raiser's Edge and determined and documented best practices for the advancement department. I ensured that all new and updated data was clean and consistent, and I generated financial and analytical reports, mailing lists, and donor listings based on our data. Our Raiser's Edge database was integrated with two other Blackbaud products, Education Edge and NetCommunity, and I ensured that all records were linked and maintained correctly across these databases. I supervised two staff members, and I worked together with all members of the advancement team as well as with many other departments around campus, including information technology and student services.

From April 2008 to September 2009, I served as the sole prospect researcher for the North Park University development department. This role involved researching biographical and financial information on organizations and individuals in order to prepare written profiles for the University's major gift officers and senior staff, as well as exporting and analyzing data from the University's database to identify potential new donors for the school. Prior to this role, I served for nearly two years as the University's Development Services Assistant, responsible for gift processing functions in the fundraising department.

I served for two years as Production Director at RFB&D, a national organization that provides audio versions of textbooks for students with print disabilities. In this role, I was responsible for recruiting, training, and managing the volunteers who provided the vocal and technical talent to create these audio textbooks. I was also responsible for overseeing the recording studio equipment itself, including troubleshooting computers, audio equipment, and the network server. As Production Director, I managed the production staff, a team of 2-3 part- and full-time staff members.Prior to this role, I held several other positions with RFB&D, including two years as Development Associate. As Development Associate, one of my key accomplishments involved modernizing the development department's records by creating a Raiser's Edge database of our donors and gift information, all of which had previously been stored in Microsoft Word tables and in paper files.
