As a Senior Physician Recruiter & Talent Advisor, I partner with department and hospital leadership to develop and implement physician recruitment, onboarding, retention, and compliance best practices for WVU Medicine and WVU School of Medicine. I independently recruit for the departments of Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Family Medicine, and Dermatology. This includes working with department leadership on position approvals, drafting job descriptions, formulating and implementing recruitment strategies, sourcing and screening, conference recruitment, interview day coordination and leadership, ensuring search compliance, visa waiver processing, reporting, onboarding of Physicians, and much more.

Provides HR leadership, and serves as a strategic partner, to higher level gas operation Managers with regard to: employee relations matters, compensation, recruiting, interview and selection, placement, performance reviews, performance improvement plans, company policies, organizational changes, employee development, disciplinary actions, terminations, benefits and compensation, and all other Human Resource issues. Also facilitates strategic organizational training and HR generalist functions while acting as a point of reference for all employees, with regard to Human Resource questions and concerns.

Managed all Human Resource functions for all CP Hospitality businesses, including Bridgeport Conference Center, Microtel Inn and Suites at Charles Pointe, and Mia Margherita. Areas of responsibility included managing an Admin team of 3. My Admin team and I were independently responsible for marketing, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection (with Director sign off), creation of offers, extending offers, and onboarding of all hourly staff positions. The hourly staff positions included Waiter, Waitress, Event Coordinators, Sales Rep, Cook, Chef, Sous Chef, Dishwasher, Parking Attendant, Front Desk, Housekeeper, and more. Additional responsibilities included Policy Development and Implementation, Recruiting, On-Boarding, Terminations, Employee Relations, Disciplinary Actions, Benefits Management, EEO & AAP, Approval of Hourly Payroll Reports, Regulate All HR Law Compliance and Personnel File Compliance for each operation, Company Internal Communications, Labor Forecasting, Budget Planning, Management Coaching, as well as creating and leading monthly HR training seminars to all company Executives that are in a management role. Other projects included Affordable Care Act auditing, Overseeing transfer to Digital Filing, bi-weekly payroll software conversions, manually recording all absences and vacation time accruals, and many more.
