In this role, I am responsible for a portfolio of distinguished events in the South Bend/Michiana market. I manage events that are affiliated with our Coaches vs. Cancer (CvC) initiative, and locally our events are supported by Coach Mike Brey of the University of Notre Dame. A key part of managing these events is working with volunteer committees. I also support the distinguished events team in Indianapolis by managing components of our silent and live auction for our Discovery Ball gala.

My primary responsibility intertwines mobilizing volunteers and committee management with grassroots fundraising and community efforts through Relay For Life. Relay For Life is the largest and most community-driven fundraiser for the American Cancer Society where teams raise funds, awareness and make an oath to fight back against cancer!

The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) promotes and integrates scientific research, education and practical applications of sports medicine and exercise science to maintain and enhance physical performance, fitness, health and quality of life. ACSM is the largest sports medicine membership association in the world with over 30,000 members, fellows & certified professionals.I secured corporate sponsorships for several continuing medical education (CME) conferences & meetings conducted by the American College of Sports Medicine. I also raised funds for clinical research roundtables, the ACSM Foundation and all other programs & initiatives that were created by ACSM and it's membership base.

The mission of Christel House International is to help children around the world break the cycle of poverty and become self-sufficient, contributing members of their societies.In this position I focused on individual giving, special event fundraising, donor stewardship & marketing for Christel House International.

In this position, I was hired to freelance for the CEO of BKS Communications. I assisted with her client base by doing media relations, standard client relations, news writing and event planning support.

In this internship I assisted with day-to-day media relations, event planning & on-site public relations support for 4 drivers during the IRL racing season as well as the Indianapolis 500 and month of May festivities in Indianapolis.
