I was born and raised in Gadsden, AL. I am a 2006 graduate of Auburn University, where I earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, with a focus on Human Resources Management. After graduating from Auburn University in 2006, I went on to work as the HR manager at a manufacturing company. While there, I helped the company implement involvement with the local county's work release program. After 2.5 years there, I moved on to work with other Human Resources Managers at the nation's leading tax credit service provider. In 2013, I began my career with Northwestern Mutual. During my time here, I have obtained my Alabama state life, disability, and long term care insurance licenses, as well as my securities licenses and the RICP designation. I currently serve as COO of Patterson Andrews Wealth Management, an ensemble practice within NM, and manage the operations and administration of the firm. I live in Southside, AL, with my husband, Ben, and am active in my community and local church, where I sing in the choir. I am a founding member of Behind The Smile, Inc., a non-profit that raises awareness for suicide risk in teens. I currently serve as president of the board for the Etowah County Free Clinic, and am a sustainer of the Gadsden Service Guild, for which I served as treasurer for two years.
