Responsibilities began with being in charge of running weeklong integrative (disabled and able bodied) horseback riding camp experiences for children ages eight – sixteen. Other responsibilities included lesson planning, safety management, direct service teaching horsemanship and riding skills, as well as ability awareness.

An educational experience before jumping straight in to Veterinary School, which had always been a dream. In the time spent at the clinic I learned veterinary medicine was not my strong suit. However, I took away that I was good at make decisions quickly as well as putting them into action.

Developing and teaching curriculum that aided in the strengthening of character for high school students by providing hands on activities. Many of these activities were framed in seven week outdoor based or fine art classes, which allowed students to practice making the "hard decisions", responsibility, community, and how to deal with setbacks accordingly..
