BP Angelin project for McDermottResponsible for pipelay, skid testing and installation planning Performed construction management duties for shallow water pipelay scope to include technical oversight of coating, skid fabrication, anchoring and recovery tooling packages. Single Point of contact with the pipelay vessel DLV 2000, developing the transit and mobilization readiness activities for the transition to the project. Responsible for the fabrication, FAT, SIT and Loadout of subsea skids, spools and associated temporary fabricated structures (@ McDermott yard, Altamira) Prepare for Readiness Reviews, HAZID and Self-Verification planning for offshore construction, deck layouts, vessel preparation, linepipe handling and firing line re-configuration Worked with Trinidad & Tobago in-country team, logistics, remote working and challenging marine environmentsFrom re-configuring the subsea structures design with minimal cost impact, I was able to achieve a 12% reduction in on-bottom diver time and implemented a solid double barrier for diver intervention during hook-up. Also re-configured all subsea skids to maintain and assure valve integrity through the life of the field.

Owner Engineer for the Lakach project. Lakach is the first deepwater development for Pemex. My role involved managing the installation contractor, representing the Client, responding to technical queries, reviewing and approving all technical documentation related to subsea installation.The Lakach project successfully achieved an on-time, on-budget and zero LTIs for the shallow water pipelay scopes. As Construction Manager, I was responsible for aligning Pemex and Contractor (Saipem) after months of stagnant technical and commercial issues. I was able to guide Pemex through GoM industry practices to ensure a smooth delivery of the nearshore system. We were on track with schedule and cost for the deepwater scope when the project was suspended in early 2016. Supervised daily management of EPIC Contractor for shallow water and deepwater phases of major projects.  Focus of work was ensuring contractor compliance with PEMEX technical and quality requirements. Oversight of PLET, Manifold, pipeline and controls design and manufacturing, including hardware package management. Act as lead technical expert on subsea engineering, providing mentoring and development opportunities to Pemex engineers on the project.  Supported scheduling and project timeline creation on P6, with strategic critical path analysis.  Supervised a team of 9 Pemex engineers and the Installation Contractor engineering team. Mobilized shallow water pipelay vessel on-time with all 425 construction documents reviewed and approved.  Problem solved issues arising due to resource and manpower issues, third party SIMOPS, weather, mechanical issues to achieve an on time and on budget performance.

Managing subsea pipeline and riser projects.Midstream planning for Anadarko for existing assets – assurance of asset integrity through non-piggable means Conceived IMR planning and pigging studies for Tullow Ghana (upstream assets).  Lead a re-review of the Jubilee system operating data to successfully assess and recommend a new pigging philosophy that simplified the Inspection, Maintenance and Repair planning resulting in significant reduction of technical, schedule and cost risk for the Client. Developed and revised commissioning and operating manual for Lucius spar facilities and subsea system.

THWI Rigid Flowline Installation Lead on Galapagos and Thunder Horse Water Injection pipeline projects.Responsibilities included managing Installation Contractor, interfacing with engineering and fabrication contractors on-site to achieve a Zero Incident, on-time and on-budget installation scope.Process Safety Champion facilitating MOC workshops and HAZOP events.Company Site Representative at onshore spooling and fabrication sites in the US and Europe. Managing team of inspectors for pipeline fabrication scopes. Compliance with Marine Warranty and Insurance requirements.Developed and implemented BP's 1st Vessel Verfiication Policy to ensure proposed offshore construction vessels and mission specific equipment is truly fit for purpose.

Construction Lead on Jubilee Project, Ghana (Contract through INTECSEA), responsible for managing the Installation Contractor (Technip) for all rigid pipelay operations (M/V Deep Blue) on behalf of the Client Integrated Project Team. Work involved daily management of structural, piping and subsea system fabrication, installation engineering, HAZIDs, fabrication Client Rep at TOF, Finland for all FPSO interface structures, PLETs and piles and Delcor US for jumper kits. Previously managed the SURF installation bid process and evaluation. Jubilee comprises flexible risers, rigid pipelines, manifolds, umbilicals and associated controls systems. The role involved managing all subsea interfaces to ensure technical compliance and adherence to schedule and HSE requirements.
