Worked under Dr. Eleanor Turi to investigate facilitators and barriers of low-barrier wound care for people who use drugs. Qualitatively coded interview transcripts of wound care providers and synthesized themes for a community advisory board with providers.

Worked under Dr. Courtney Wolk to help implement mental health strategies in schools. Helped create educational and sustainment material for mental health providers. Investigated facilitators and barriers of the sustainment of TeamSTEPPS, an evidence-based approach to building teamwork within mental health teams.

Roomed patients, took patient vitals and histories, and scribed for the physician. Learned how to use EHR and communicate with patients. Worked alongside providers to ensure quality pain management care.

Investigated the role of microglia in the immune response against glioblastoma in the Bhat Lab. Developed a phagocytosis assay for various immune cells with glioblastoma cells.

Studied the effect of apolipoprotein A-I-binding protein (AIBP) for post-surgical pain in the Dougherty Lab.
