I am an Associate Partner + Architect at MKSD architects in Allentown Pa. My current role allows me the opportunity to mentor younger staff to assist them in their achievement of their professional goals all while being a part of the leadership and future trajectory of the firm. With over eighteen years of experience in architecture, I manage all of our firm’s healthcare portfolio as the Director of Healthcare Design. With a deep knowledge of the PA Department of Health standards, I have a strong focus on healthcare design both inpatient and outpatient. From interior design, to master planning studies, to construction administration, there is little I have not done while at MKSD. Other specialties include: higher Ed/K-12 master planning/design, commercial renovations, additions & interior design of all kinds, LEED design/documentation, furniture design/planning/procurement, and project managementI hold accreditation as a licensed Architect in the State of Pennsylvania and as a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional with specialty in Building Design + Construction by the U.S. Green Building Council. I am also a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).Outside of Architecture, I find joy in spending time with my two daughters and my best friend/husband. We love the outdoors and spend a lot of our time hiking, camping, biking, or relaxing in the backyard together. And I have a passion for gardening which allows me a release while integrating my love of design into nature!
