Encourage, promote, and coordinate the economic development efforts and strategies of the county with a focus on job creation, as well as provide support to local businesses concerning local and state-wide programs. Develop, implement, monitor, and annually update County-wide strategic plan to direct systematic undertaking of community revitalization and economic activities as well as prepare promotional and marketing materials to attract appropriate business projects. Direct tourism development and destination marketing activities as directed by County officials.

Plan, implement and monitor marketing activities company wide, including advertising, public relations and website management. Develop and execute yearly marketing plan and budget. Initiate and implement new product development, including projected cost analysis. Grant research, writing and administration. Federal regulation supervision and USDA liaison. Graphic design: marketing materials, product packaging, and other informational materials. Composition, editing and publishing of company newsletter. Event coordination and amateur photography as required. Other duties as assigned.
