Little did I know, the girl who grew up in her parents’ Chinese-American fast-food restaurant would eventually work for the world's largest restaurant company with the most loved, trusted and iconic brands.At Yum!, I have been implementing my knowledge of delivering the best hospitality, reputation and seamless operations to the world outside the four walls from my beloved family restaurant. My role on the external communications and global media team at Yum! Brands revolves around protecting and elevating our company’s reputation. Our global media strategy have enabled us to stay ahead of industry trends and deliver insightful social listening analytics across the organization. Collaborating with a diverse set of global partners, my focus has been to integrate social media insights with various functional partners — including marketing, operations and food innovation — to support the organization's objectives.
