My role includes duties such as: legal research, drafting proposed ordinances for tribal council, and representing SSBMI on family law and family wellness court matters as well as government citations for peace and protection violations that occur on Tribal land. After graduation, I moved to the DMV area and worked as a legal assistant/office manager while also earning my Bachelor's Degree in Law & Society and a minor in Political Science. I moved back to my home state of Georgia and performed legal assistant duties at a small firm before taking advantage of an opportunity to study Counterterrorism abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. I ultimately relocated to Sacramento, California, and worked as a legal secretary before committing to pursuing a law degree, which I received May 2024.As an employee, I thrive in collaborative, interpersonal environments and value transparency, accountability, and optimism. I consider myself a creative problem-solver and an enthusiastic and compassionate advocate in both fast-paced and relaxed professional environments.
