Jessica is the Director of Case Intake and Investigations at Innocence Project Delaware, a non-profit legal organization that investigates credible claims of actual innocence and provides pro bono legal assistance to individuals who have been wrongfully convicted in Delaware. In her role, she evaluates complex innocence claims and manages case investigation, as well as advocates for criminal justice policy reform in the First State.Before joining Innocence Project Delaware, Jessica worked as a Senior Associate at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where she contributed to the Public Safety Performance Project, an initiative that works with states to advance data-driven, fiscally sound policies and practices in sentencing and corrections. She has also worked with the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project and New England Innocence Project, screening cases involving actual innocence claims for potential representation. Jessica received her law degree from Suffolk University Law School, where she graduated with Pro Bono Honors. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, Law & Public Policy, and Psychology from Northeastern University. Jessica is driven by her passion for justice and dedication to improving the criminal legal system.
