Continuation of HSEMA Preparedness Planning contract as a full time CNA employee. I am supporting long term service planning for all-hazards preparedness in the District of Columbia, while also actively assisting in the District's COVID-19 response as an EOC Human Services Branch Specialized Planner. I have assisted in planning and operations of the Commodity Points of Distribution Program, as well as planning for the ISAQ/PEP-V Centers and the Vitrual Family Assistance Center.

As a contractor through CNA, I am assisting and advising on the current COVID-19 response through the DC Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency. I am updating and streamlining preparedness planning strategies on an all-hazards approach to disasters and biological threats. I am also assisting in developing Incident Action Plans and Resource Identification to implement community support through mass feeding, mass sheltering, and supply chain support for the Human Services Branch in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.

I collaborated with Global Health Security mentor Dr. Taylor Winkleman on Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) concerns and growth. Through this partnership, I created novel research on GHSA participation by United States Government agencies, developed and conducted a priority analysis and funding comparisons for United States agencies in GHSA participation, and presented research proposal at the NextGen Flash Conference to a committee of peers within the global health security field. I have since been chosen as a panelist to present personal research on global health security financing at the Global Health Security 2019 Conference in Sydney, Australia.
