I lead a team of 97 consultants.

-Manage the entire move process of Military personnel and their families-Act as the point of contact and liaison between the external customer and all participating parties including dispatch, drivers, origin/destination agents, and the origin/destination military bases-Responsible for keeping information current in the governments database to ensure oPre approvals are granted in order for customers personal belongings to be moved in the safest fashion oAll weights are accurate to keep the cost off of the military member

I accepted a position at CPS after my full time position at Waubonsee was cut due to budget constraints. I thrive most when my life is busy and I needed something to do while searching for the next step in my career.

-Special event management and coordination which includes finding performers, negotiating contracts and fees, reserving event space, determining event ticket pricing and group sale discounts, calculating anticipated revenue on a break-even and profit basis, negotiating rates with hotels, travel arrangements for performers, hospitality needs, budget management, additional value items, customer relations, ticket sales, develop marketing strategies, coordinating volunteers and pre-event meetings, all front of house operations, audio/visual assistance, meet and greets, refreshments, outcome reporting, and more. Past events include; Clay Jenkinson as Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Robert Oppenheimer, Reptiles Are Cool/Reptiles Are Still Cool, Mad Science Spooktacular, The Magic in You with Mitch Williams, Ryan Buell from A&E’s hit TV show Paranormal State, Reed Timmer as seen on the Discovery Channels Storm Chasers, The Theatreworks USA Production of Junie B. Jones, The Hillstrand Brothers from the Discovery Channels Deadliest Catch, and three Renewable Energy Fairs-Successfully developed, marketed, and priced non credit courses. As well as managed enrollment, created reports, and ordered necessary supplies. -Involvement with the Life Long Learning Institute-Built an ongoing relationship with radio stations 98.3 WCCQ/STAR 96.7 while coordinating on air ticket giveaways/advertising-High level of involvement with coordination and management of Summer High School Program, which provides high school classes to over 800 students each summer-Represent the Community Education Department at new student orientation, college night and numerous community events outside the college-Administrator of www.waubonseetickets.com, including posting all events, writing event descriptions, ticket sales, returns, resolving customer issues and training

-Prepare reports and assist in budget preparation-Compile daily, monthly, end-of semester, and annual statistical data for the Community Education Department-Maintain and process all clerical tasks in administrative software systems, including: hiring process, requisitions, vendor information and room scheduling-Assist in the preparation of the non-credit schedule-Manage Community Education’s main telephone line, helping students with requests, questions and complaints-Communicate on a daily basis with administrators, staff, students, instructors and community members-Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents and information-Revised handbook for Summer High School Program-Created Microsoft Access databases for High School Program instructors and Renewable Energy Fair vendors
