About Jessica L.
Detail oriented, organized, and self-directed. I have found great success in navigating curriculum development, student engagement and retention, and training new educators as the Robotics Coordinator at the Greensboro Science Center. I am also the 5th-8th Grade Robotics Teacher at Canterbury School in Greensboro. This position allows me the freedom and flexibility to create 32+ week curriculum for 4 grade levels using small class sizes and a variety of robotics/coding platforms. Previous experience in working at Zaniac Parkside in Cary, NC as an Assistant Campus Manager and Senior STEAM Instructor for K-8 year-round and traditional students. I also taught, developed curriculum and trained educators at the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center in Chapel Hill, NC for 6 years. I am passionate about inclusive science education that utilizes multiple mediums and literacy strategies to engage students in thoughtful exploration.
