I graduated from Hamline University with a major in Psychology, focusing on Social Justice. I am passionate about eliminating barriers for traditionally underserved populations and reducing systemic disparities. This includes criminal justice reform, access to mental health services, and promoting equitable outcomes for all people.I have experience in community corrections, community health services, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.  For the past three years, I have been working at the YWCA of Minneapolis. In the past year, I have also worked at Hennepin County in the Department of Community Corrections and Rehabilitation, first as an Adult Probation intern, and now as a Probation Officer in the pretrial unit. Additionally, I have interned with a consulting firm that specializes in Diversity, Inclusion, and Workplace Culture.My volunteer experience includes being a community artist leading an Ecuadorian Folkloric dance group in the Twin Cities. I am also a long time educator in my faith community.
