I love being a resource to others; serving others, especially seniors and their families. I strive to always seek out the blessings in tough situations; and to help develop a deeper understanding of their care and the options available to them. I deeply enjoy providing education to and mentoring others - and I'm passionate about doing my part to change long term care into a truly quality environment where seniors can thrive.Personally, I love spending time with my family going on adventures (camping, vacations), trying foods or cooking new recipes, and enjoying music of all kinds. My family and I live in the country, so we enjoy raising animals and living fairly self-sufficiently. I also love coaching softball and being a sports/dance mom. While my previously honed skills are rusty now, I really enjoy singing classical/opera music and musical theatre. Professionally, I'm a certified dementia practitioner, and a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Ohio with experience in the full continuum (home health, assisted living, and skilled nursing) who is skilled in and I most enjoy:-cultivating dedicated work environments that enhance the care environment-dementia care unit management-building and fostering a team environment-personally assisting families through placement, community assistive programs, and customer concerns for positive outcomes
