Domestic Sales & Customer Service Manager
• Provide maintenance of the Gourmet Footwear website – handling customer service, processing orders, returns, update product descriptions and inventory • Attend events and trade shows as needed • Plan company holiday parties, and sales meetings • Travel alongside sales reps on the road to visit accounts while working to identify strengths, weaknesses, and needs • Operate and manage all order entry for domestic accounts & assisted with international distributor account management for a 6 month period • Cut and issued purchase orders to the factory in Vietnam and provide communication for 2 sales seasons. • Work closely with the sales reps to assist in the process of the sales cycle, from order entry to shipping and follow-up with the customer to maximize sales of their accounts.• Assist the sales team with samples, catalogs, links, and all necessary sales tools. • Provide outstanding account customer service (i.e., accounts below minimums, invoice shortages, returned shipments, substitute styles, communicate RA’s, and approval to pre-ship, etc)• Maintain records of all customer account information including paperwork, billing/shipping information, and account detail• Identify new sales opportunities, evaluating each and selecting the best available options for our brand.• Work with marketing to determine and manage sampling and merchandising needs for all sales channels (seeding, POP, displays) • Reporting – Generate and manipulate reports to help management analyze sales • Proactively sell products via outbound sales calls and email communications. • Assist Accounting Department in various roles including A/R support, administration support
