Hi there! My name is Jessica and I'm the co-founder and owner of Bird’s-Eye View Social Media Marketing Agency. We're based out of Cochrane, AB, and love working with businesses that have a strong sense of community.I'm originally from Saskatchewan but Alberta truly feels like home. I fit right in with the culture of hard working individuals, and people who love their community. Here is where my husband and I choose to raise our four spirited children, while also encouraging them to experience the world. Home can be anywhere that people come together.In my professional life I'm a writer and artist, as well as client liaison. I enjoy capturing the attention of an audience with wit and humour, but also focus on being sincere in sharing our story, or in helping other businesses share their story and build their brand. The voice behind an organization is so important and my passion is helping other companies find theirs.Before starting our agency, I dabbled in many other creative endeavours throughout my life, some of which included commissioned artwork, showing at art exhibits, and competing in poetry and short story writing. An entrepreneur at heart, I've started many proprietorships over the years. I ran an art and face-painting business, launched my own pet grooming and boarding salon, and most recently operated a private day home. My skills in cultivating relationships with people has been invaluable in my ability to help hundreds of clients. Every one of my company’s used facebook as its prime form of communication and client acquisition, so I'm no stranger to using social media to grow.I don't shy away from hard work in both my personal and professional life, and before embarking on my own business journeys, I experienced many employment roles. The jobs I took on were both mentally and physically taxing, such as a customer service rep in a café & book store, hired-hand at a horse boarding facility, receptionist and kennel tech in a fast-paced, high-stress emergency vet clinic, K9 Wrangler at a doggy daycare, and an early childhood educator. I know what it feels like to put in countless hours of hard work and feel like it's not making much of a difference. Now my mission is to help people and share success.
