Attending a BALLE (www.livingeconomies.org) conference fueled my passion for leveraging the influence of the business community to create a world that values relationships. Our BOD included local independent business owners in: book stores, restaurants, farming, banking, manufacturing, professional services and the arts.

Served as one of the first green wedding planners in the San Francisco Bay Area. Planned and coordinated ecologically and socially conscious weddings for couples who wanted a more authentic wedding than what they were used to experiencing. Offered relationship coaching support to couples along with logistical event management. Weddings in North San Juan to UC Berkeley to Mendocino and the Northern Sacramento Valley.

Organized stakeholders to build local support for the permanent federal protection of wild rivers and wilderness lands. Led lobby teams to Washington, D.C.

Led a group of 50 students in environmental advocacy pursuits. Represented the student body on the Academic Senate's General Education Committee, advocating for a required course in Environmental Studies.
