• Manage $8M multi-channel Direct Response program to ensure a fully integrated direct mail and web-based program• Oversee stewardship strategy for low- and mid-level donors and monthly donors to retain and grow donor file and provide a high quality donor experience• Steward portfolio of 170 mid-level donors with emphasis on pipeline development

• Engage a select portfolio of 150 donors within the mid-level Advocacy Council program and monthly sustainer program through phone calls, emails, letters, and in person meetings and identify best prospects for upgrades to major donor• Serve as primary Development liaison for Direct Response consultants, oversee the review and shepherding of direct mail copy and collateral; provide programmatic updates to ensure accurate and thoughtful messaging• Collaborate with consultants and program staff to develop thoughtful and strategic engagement opportunities for monthly and mid-level donors• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of Direct Response gift processing and acknowledgements;

• Engage a select portfolio of donors within the mid-level Advocacy Council program and monthly sustainer program, through phone calls, emails, letters, and when appropriate, in person meetings and identify best prospects for upgrades to major donor• Act as point person for specific projects and timelines within major gifts and events, and generate recommendations for maintaining appropriate systems to track successful implementation• Create donor materials, including the drafting of: donor correspondence and donor communications, meeting memos, and background documents, as opportunities arise• Support the Chief Development Officer in managing the Development Committee• Assist in the production of crossover proposals and reports and assist in donor stewardship

• Support the Chief Development Officer with travel, calendar support, meeting logistics and prep, and support for donor interactions• Provide administrative support to gift and grant processing, donor mailings and briefings• Assist with meeting preparation, handle meeting logistics and coordination while providing support for Institutional and Individual teams• Aid in the production and timely submission of proposals and reports while assisting in grants stewardship• Maintain calendar of deadlines for institutional funder and crossover reports and proposals• Process department invoices and payment request forms

• Conduct research on individual and institutional donor prospects• Collaborate with development team on Major Donor communications strategy• Participate in strategic planning and development of Young Professionals group• Process gifts and grants, perform data entry/cleanup utilizing Raiser's Edge

• Create, implement and provide support for programs that serve women of Essex County, NJ, including Moving Forward, Moving Forward Taking Action programs and RISE Self-Empowerment program• Compose statistical reports from surveys of implemented programs• Research and compile informational brochures on vocational schooling and certificate programs to assist clients • Analyze data and created document for grant reporting• Administrative duties: filing, copying, editing

• Facilitate weekly sexuality workshops in middle schools, high schools, and community based organizations• Work with local schools and organizations to develop tailored comprehensive sex education programs • Assist in street outreach, health fairs, planning and execution of projects and events• Social media planning and daily blog postings• Collaborate with fellow intern to create short documentary entitled "Slut Shaming" in Newark

• Create and administer surveys to NJ middle school students• Assess school climate and bullying within NJ school systems
