Reviews and prepares prescription orders for processing by entering and scanning oncoming request.Enters and maintains patient and physician information to system. Verifies dispensing request by contacting outside resources.Maintains inventory by ordering, receiving, verifying and replenishing inventory in storage and dispensing areas.Develops and maintains vendor relations.Prepares and packages orders for delivery. Verifies orders shipped, delivery dates and quantities as needed or requested by Home Delivery Specialist.Provides other support to the department or Director by answering phones, researching information or other duties as permitted by law. Handles inbound calls for patients seeking refills.\Contact Doctors offices to seek new prescriptions for patients and answers any questions regarding the actual script or medications.

Handles calls in a timely and professional manner. Provide superior customer service to all internal or external clients. Maintains and updates patient records and associated schedules and/or orders. May monitor progress of patients' needs. Conducts follow-up phone calls to patients, providers, physicians, adjustors, and any other necessary party as needed. Promptly resolves complaints or issues independently or escalates to the proper level of authority Maintains HIPAA requirements throughout all aspects of work.
