I supervised and monitored the non-adjudicated juveniles on the detention side of the facility, maintaining the safety of the juveniles on my watch. I also supervised and monitored the juveniles that had already been adjudicated on the program side of the facility. I was able to keep the juveniles in line, keep them up to date with their school work, and discuss their current situations appropriately and accordingly with their parents, probation officers and the courts. I was able, on both sides of the facility, to alleviate potentially dangerous situations against other juveniles, other staff members and myself as well.
