I am an employment law and litigation partner in Orrick's Silicon Valley office and a Managing Partner for the firm. I defend employers in indivdiual, class, collective, representative and multi-plaintiff actions under state and federal laws, including for discrimination, harassment and retaliation, as well as claims for overtime, minimum wage, vacation and personal days, meal and rest break penalties, reporting time wages, expense reimbursements, waiting-time penalties, Private Attorney General Act penalties, and work uniform violations. In addition, I've successfully represented clients involved in investigations and audits by the EEOC, DFEH, Department of Labor, and the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, and have assisted clients in developing policies and compliance measures designed to reduce potential exposure.
