I was recommended by management and executive members to start and lead a temporary food packing site that has now become a permanent site. I organized and facilitated a project plan to successfully open a new packing site in an accelerated time frame. I oversaw the implementation of delegated responsibilities both to those in Minnesota as well as Arizona.I hired and trained the initial staff members. For the first three months of operation I supervised the packing facility; ensuring policies and procedures were followed in all aspects of the site. I planned a successful transition out of the position, and trained the next supervisor.

As a supervisor I was responsible for providing leadership at assigned events around the country. I balanced supervising staff, coordinating logistics, communicating with host, and reaching production goals on each event. Often I was responsible for planning the event in addition to running it. The planning included, but was not limited to, scheduling the staff, making travel arrangements, coordinating trucking and logistical arrangements, and correspondence between FMSC and the event host. I supervised 3-5 staff member on an ongoing basis; working on their professional development, conflict management, and being a supportive advocate for their ideas with higher management.
