I helped the chapter develop a social media presence on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.I provided information to our members and the general scientific community about AWIS Chicago and its events. In 2009 I spoke to attendees of the National AWIS networking event at the international American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) meeting about our chapter's goals and involvement in the Chicago scientific community.
