Through creative and efficient solutions and by working with home owners, professionals and City Officials, we are streamlining the process of urban infill and increasing housing units in the Bay Area.We work directly with home owners to provide a tailored solution for their project.

Serving Palo Alto Unified School District as project manager; facilitating and engaging district leadership, principals, teachers, students, the community and design professionals to create high quality and efficient projects. In 2008, the PAUSD community passed Measure A, a $378M Bond to improve and rebuild aging facilities over 19 campuses. While managing three of the Elementary School Improvements for a total of $30M in construction costs, I was also working closely with each of the school sites to develop a 20 year master plan for each campus, developing educational specifications and generating a project list at each campus to put before the voters. In 2018 the voters in PAUSD passed Measure Z, a $460M Bond to continue the work.

An architectural practice with a disciplined design process and a heavy emphasis on pre-design research. Demonstrating a keen ability to empathize with clients and develop tailored solutions to their unique needs and desires. Projects ranging in size and type; residential projects include new home construction, major additions and compact, infill projects. Commercial tenant improvements range in size and type from boutique pediatrics, Tech Office and Barbizon Modeling Agency.

The Coastside Design Review Committee is appointed to ensure that new development is compatible with coastal communities of Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, Miramar and Princeton. As the CDRC Chair, I was able to navigate many delicate situations helping the community and applicant appreciate each others input.

Managing seven to ten projects and directing three designers; allowing founding principle, Eric Corey Freed, the freedom to teach, write and speak. Project management included conducting client, consultant, and contractor meetings, preparing project proposals, procuring building permits, and overseeing the documentation for two LEED Certified Projects. Residential projects included new construction, remodels, additions, and multi-family units.

Coordination of multiple projects, communication with clients, consultants, and contractors. Provide feasibility studies, boma calculations, and takeing projects through all phases of design from schematic to construction administration. Project types vary greatly, including office park and retail master planning from 30 to 450 acres, speculative office design, commercial interiors, tenant improvements for institutions such as Fujitsu, Coldwell Banker, and the design of a religious facility. In addition, I led the office in the development of a green task force for internal education and client outreach.

Lecturer on the fundamentals of Interior Architecture as it applies to socially responsible and sustainable design.
