I have a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Connecticut, where I learned how to apply economic theories and methods to real-world problems and data. I am currently an Audience Strategist at POLITICO, a leading media company that covers politics, policy, and power. My core competencies are audience analysis, targeting, and storytelling, which I use to help the sales and product development teams understand and reach our readers effectively.As an Audience Strategist, I analyze the audiences reading our products, such as newsletters, podcasts, and events, using various tools and metrics. I look at their seniority, top employers, top job titles, top industries, and engagement levels, among other factors, to create segments and personas that inform our advertising and editorial strategies. I also create and maintain quarterly resources on influencer audiences and newsletter insights, and present them in compelling and clear word documents or keynote presentations. I enjoy working with a diverse and talented team of journalists, editors, marketers, and developers, and contributing to POLITICO's mission of providing high-quality and trustworthy journalism. I have also gained valuable skills in hospitality industry, target audience, and social media marketing from my previous internships at Here Here Market and KindWorks, where I supported the business development and operations of these social enterprises.
